Hunter Education Egg Shoot/Flying Block
Chicken BBQ NRA Courses Calendar
HUNTER EDUCATION
Spring 2012 Hunter Education Class
will be held on Friday, March 30 from 5:30-9:00PM, and continue on Saturday,
March 31 from 8:00AM-4:30PM.
Fall 2012 Hunter Education Class will be held Friday, September 7, from
5:30PM-9:00PM and continue on Saturday, September 8, from 8:00AM-4:30PM.

EGG SHOOT/FLYING BLOCK SHOOT
Our Spring 2011 Egg Shoot for Hams (Pistol, Rifle, and Archery), Block Shoot, and Raffle is April 10th. The egg shoot begins at 9:00AM and Flying Block at 12:00.

NRA BASIC PISTOL SAFETY COURSE
We will be holding an NRA Basic
Pistol Safety Course on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 from 6:00PM-10:00PM and
continuing on Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 8:00AM-2:00PM. There will be 2 NRA
Certified Instructors on hand. Cost is $60.00 for non members and $30.00 for
members and their spouses. Payment is due when you sign up for the course. You
must be 18 to participate. If you wish to register or ask questions about the
course, you may contact Joe Sickler at 610-678-9796 or Eugene Diefenderfer at
610-678-7438. Registration is first come-first serve. The class will not exceed
12 people.

The Course will include:
Pistol handling and shooting safety.
Pistol parts and their operation.
Pistol ammunition and its function.
Pistol shooting fundamentals and an opportunity to develop them on the range.
How to select, clean, and store a pistol.
Review of various activities available to help participants develop their
shooting skills.
Certificates are awarded to participants who successfully complete the basic
course. Also you will have the opportunity to earn a Basic Practical Rocker
Patch and a Handgun Discipline Patch with a Pro-Marksman Rocker Patch.
You will need your own Handgun and ammunition for the Saturday Session on the
range.
